We re-energized a long lasting sister-city partnership

Innouvo made history by revitalizing the long-standing sister city partnership between Boston and Strasbourg. Originally focused on connecting communities through culture and history, this remarkable partnership was transformed by Innouvo’s leadership into an economic development program.

Several cohorts of entrepreneurs were sponsored by the city of Strasbourg to inject American entrepreneurship know-how and help companies refine their strategies with the goal of one day entering the U.S. market. In addition, official delegations visited Boston, exploring key sites and receiving mentorship from local experts.

This initiative created powerful synergies between the two ecosystems. Since then, Strasbourg’s innovation ecosystem has matured significantly, engaging in collaborative work both regionally and internationally.
